Anime Christians: a Creative Christian Community

What's your favorite funny/unusual story or verse in the Bible?

I'll start off with mine: Balaam and his donkey.

Kika, I (and I'm sure a lot of other people on here) am very sorry that some Christians have made a bad impression on you and you want little to do with Christianity now. Apparently those Christians in your life did not represent Christ well.

But Donna said that she wanted some ideas for Christian counselors, and I was simply suggesting some to her. If it turns out that the "conversion/conversation therapy" that Christian counseling gives is not what she thinks will help her, she will look for something else. 

Also not to derail the thread, but FotF is actually very pro-human rights! They support the right to life in the womb, the right to share your faith, and the right to defend the true definition of marriage. 

Ahh, seeing this made me think: "I hope Inkhana and Calbhach are okay."

So my parents think anime and Vocaloid is bad - at least my mom does. (I honestly don't think my dad cares. XD)
But I can count on both hands the number of times I've told my mom not ALL anime is spiritually messed up or highly sexual, and that anime in and of itself is basically just a genre/art style. And I've told her that Vocaloid is simply a series of computer-generated voices that can sing, and not all of the music written for the characters to sing is super-rocky or has bad lyrics.

But she just won't listen!!!    Every time I make those key points, I always get the same basic response:
"Anime=Devil worship+Girls with their panties showing=Bad."
"Vocaloid=Electronically produced music=Evil music."

Can anybody recommend any anime, Vocaloid songs, or maybe even some articles that can prove to my mom that not all of it is bad?  Like, I don't even need her to like anime and Vocaloid like I do, I just wish she'd feel even A LITTLE more at ease about them and we won't have to heatedly debate them!!! 

<EDIT:> I should note that my mom's never TOLD me to stop watching anime/listening to Vocaloid. She's just always calling it "evil" whenever an opportunity arises.

I really liked Tokyo Mew Mew! I've only seen the first 15 episodes, though, and they were subbed. The only real issue I had with it was the swearing in the subtitles.

I also like Lucky Star and Sonic X!
