Anime Christians: a Creative Christian Community

Hello friends! This year I'm kicking off the holidays with a site-wide Secret Santa event.

You will be given the name of another participant via PM, and you will draw a picture for them. In return, another person will be drawing a picture for you! However, you won't know who it is until they gift you the artwork.

How it works:
Between now (November 10) and November 25, you will be able to sign up. To "sign up," you have to post here! You must post two references--one male and one female--of characters you would like drawn for YOU. This is your "wishlist." Please provide full-body references. If they are not in color, please provide a color description. Feel free to also include a brief description of your characters' personalities--this will help your Secret Santa to choose a pose that suits them.

RULES:
*PG only
*No Animals, Mecha, or overly complex/detailed characters! This is designed to be a light event not a challenge.
*Avoid picking characters from series you don't want kids to google... even if the character is fine, let's prevent any google image search nightmare encounters.
*For the sake of readability, please post your references as links instead of images, thanks!
*OCs and characters from writing are ok! Just be sure you have proper references.


Your part:
On November 26th you will be given the name of your Secret Santa.

Start posting your drawings (on this thread) on December 1!

December 20 is the final date to complete and upload your drawing. (Giving you about a month to complete it) Please make sure it ends up on this thread! If you are not done with it at this time, but have made good progress, we can talk about extensions, just send me a PM.

You must make it a completed drawing--whatever that means to you. To some people, a completed drawing is inked and colored. To others, it's a highly detailed sketch. Whatever is a "completed" drawing by your standards is acceptable.

You will be given two references of your Secret Santa's wishlist, but you are only required to draw one character. You may draw both if you so choose.

Oh dear. I don't think i can participate if there's a chance I may have to draw something so complex. I'm really bad at robots and technology.

I think I may try this, just know that if I draw your name you're getting a papersketch :/

I tried to find a full body picture but this is the only one I could find.... you could probably find ones of her when she was younger but I kinda wanted a picture of her older....
I'll just say she's shorter than her son.

of course you dont have to use these exact references, and sorry I could find full bodied ones.

I would perfer if you keep the original outfits but if you really want to change them than go ahead!
